Woodburn Tulip Festival 

Woodburn | March 22 - May 5, 2024

Experience an explosion of color while surrounded by millions of beautiful blooming tulips at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival in Woodburn, Oregon. Tulip festival activities include scenic tulip field rides, wooden shoe-making demonstrations, as well as food vendors and wine-tasting options. Jazz lovers rejoice! The Mt. Hood Jazz Festival is a three-day festival featuring performances by world-renowned artists and a competition for high school and middle school jazz groups paired with plenty of food and local vendors.

Schreiner's Iris Display Gardens

Salem | May 10 - 31, 2024

Explore over 500 variations of irises at Schreiner’s Iris Display Garden and other perennials like lupine, allium, Icelandic poppies, and delphinium. Tickets for a two-hour time window are available to purchase online, allowing you to take in the beautiful blooms without feeling overcrowded by other visitors.

Silver Falls State Park

Considered an Oregon bucket list item for many, Silver Falls State Park is Oregon’s largest state park located just 25 miles east of Salem. Head out on the park’s iconic Trail of Ten Falls where you can walk behind several waterfalls on this moderate hike with a 7.2 mile loop. Or, take one of the shorter routes through the many connecting trails.

Delbert Hunter Arboretum and Botanical Garden

Walk through the well-maintained paths of this seven-acre park in Dallas, Oregon and admire the almost 1,000 native trees and plants on display. Free to visit, the blooms at Delbert Hunter Arboretum and Botanical Garden are beautiful anytime of year, but truly come to life from April to June.
