We select artists and businesses who align with our values and beliefs to help us elevate our guests’ experiences. Throughout our halls and within each suite you’ll find products and decorations from craftspeople from the Pacific Northwest. Every so often, our team will select new purveyors to create a brand new guest experience for those who return.
Local Art
Greg Klassen: Klassen creates artwork that is inspired by the aerial view of water ways in the Pacific Northwest. Each piece is handmade with full attention, starting with a tree and ending with functional art.
Olaf Beckmann: For over a decade, Beckmann has captured the environment and still life through his photography. Each suite contains photographs from Beckmann of the local rivers the room is named after.
Ceramics
Lilith Rockett: Decorative vases and tea cups in rooms and the lobby are from Portland studio potter, Lilith Rockett. Her work is hand-crafted on a potter’s wheel and reveals the natural and raw beauty of the porcelain and stoneware materials used.
Natasha Alfonse: Seattle artist Natasha Alfonse creates the plates, bowls and mugs present in all suites. Her roots, growing up in the Northern tip of Saskatchewan a part of the Denesuline tribe, influence her approach in ceramics.
Suite Glassware
Kimura Glass: Other delicate cocktail glassware within rooms come from Kimura Glass. They have been dedicated to creating super thin, lightweight, original glassware for cocktails since 1910.
Zalto Wine: This boutique company produces all of the universal wine glasses in each suite. Their design and craftsmanship is renowned worldwide and their products are used at the finest restaurants and in the homes of wine enthusiasts everywhere.
Beverage Purveyors
Smith Tea: Each suite’s Portland Breakfast and Lullaby teas come from Smith. Their certified organic teas are tasted and tested repeatedly and in small batches to preserve the delicate quality that each leaf and blossom offers.
Caravan Coffee: Start your day with Caravan Coffee's Base Camp blend, made in Newberg, OR. Every coffee that comes to Caravan’s roastery first passes a S.E.T framework (Social Impact Positive, Environmentally Friendly Growing Practices, Traceable and Fairly Traded Co-ops and Partnerships) and is then roasted by a team with over 20+ years of experience.
Wet Bar Animenties
Ratio Coffee Maker: Pour over coffee is elevated and automated by this Portland-based company. Ratio’s automatic coffee maker blends beauty, simplicity, and quality into one machine to make your morning that much more enjoyable.
Fellow Electric Kettle: The electric pour-over kettle with a precision pour spout, exact temperature control, quick heat time, and a world of features for ultimate control.
Luxury Bath Amenities
Aroma 360: The moment you enter your room, you will experience our selection of aromatherapy from Aroma 360. The Shadow Dancing scent offers notes of Rare Oud Wood, Rosewood, and Tonka Bean fragrances.
Le Labo: Each shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion is hand-blended and custom made by the team at Le Labo. The Santal 33 line in each suite offers a variety of scents and feels to start or end your day for a truly relaxing experience.
Rough Cut Soap Company: Every custom made soap and salts in rooms are made locally in Carlton, OR by Rough Cut Soap Co. Their natural and sustainable approach to skincare, incorporates high quality ingredients and protects our environment by guaranteeing palm and plastic-free items.
